Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. is seeking a Material Management Specialist in IT - Vergiate to oversee material requirements, drive MRP activities, and align demand with procurement across multiple supplier networks.

The role requires a engineering or related degree with experience in logistics or supply chain and offers a permanent contract with hybrid working arrangements. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and timely material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master Degree (Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent) or Technical Degree with 3 years experience in logistics, operations or supply chain.
• Hybrid working arrangement.
• Permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage material requirements based on demand inputs, ensuring proper definition of quantities, timing and sourcing strategy.
• Execute or support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities, ensuring consistency and accuracy of planning data.
• Generate and manage purchase requisitions and ensure timely conversion into Purchase Orders / Transfer Orders.
• Ensure alignment between demand, planning and procurement functions.
• Manage assigned material supply sources (Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, Local Suppliers).
• Collect, consolidate and monitor supply plans ensuring their consistency with demand priorities.
• Monitor execution of supply plans, identifying delays, shortages and misalignments.
• Expedite on supply flows and deliveries, coordinating with responsible stakeholders.
• Act as focal point for material issues and receiving anomalies, ensuring proper escalation and resolution.
• Manage material shortages and recovery actions.
