Baxter International Inc. in Malta is seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic engineering initiatives across EMEA and APAC. You will guide cross-functional teams from identifying opportunities and building business cases to planning, execution, and successful implementation.

You will join a dynamic, globally connected team; the role focuses on cost optimization, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient impact while coordinating with multiple functions to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading multiple concurrent projects in a matrix organization.
• Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and executive stakeholder communication.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical, pharma and automotive will be given preference.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end using structured project management methods.
• Willingness to travel internationally ( approximately 10% of the time based on business needs ).

Mansioni

• Lead and influence cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to define milestones and identify issues and risks throughout planning and execution.
• Identify and evaluate cost-optimization opportunities across materials, components, and processes across Baxter sites (insourcing, alternate sourcing, value engineering).
• Develop and maintain accurate project schedules and drive execution with the core team and support groups to achieve milestones.
• Support change-control, validation activities, and implementation planning.
• Partner with Procurement, R&D, Quality, Operations, and Suppliers to ensure product performance and supply continuity while controlling costs.
• Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans and proactive solutions.
