Baxter International Inc. Malta-based Production Technician role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires relocation to Malta and adherence to GMP and EHS standards. You will participate in maintenance, installation, validation, and process improvements, keep accurate records, and contribute to a safe, organized workplace.

Competenze

• Fully qualified at MQF Level 4 of an Electrical/Mechanical Qualification.
• Wireman license A and/or B would be considered an asset.
• Proven work experience as a production technician or similar role.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Good physical condition.
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Mansioni

• Carry out maintenance activities on assigned equipment, including both corrective (breakdown) and preventive maintenance, in accordance with Baxter Procedures.
• Support the Engineering team in the installation, validation, and implementation of new processes and process improvements initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, policies, standards, and equipment requirements, including process-specific safety protocols.
• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance, product quality, and adherence to production schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and production records, through the digital system, reporting equipment issues and improvement opportunities as required.
• Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards.

This position is based in Malta. Applications are only being considered from candidates who are willing and able to relocate to Malta for this opportunity.

We are looking for a Production Technician to be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous support of production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, product quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to process improvements and supports engineering initiatives while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is€24,000.00 annually, excluding allowances, overtime and bonuses.

Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and experience, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
