Job summary

Fendi is seeking a WW Senior Retail Merchandiser Woman Leather Goods to contribute to the development of one of the House’s most iconic categories. The role will support the global retail merchandising strategy, translating the creative vision and business ambition into relevant assortment opportunities across markets.

Based at Rome HQ, the successful candidate will connect HQ with regions, gather market insights, identify opportunities and help shape a locally relevant yet consistent approach

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business or related fields.
• At least 8 years’ experience in Retail Merchandising or related activities.
• Solid experience in retail merchandising, buying, business analysis or product-related roles, preferably within luxury fashion.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to defining the Woman Leather Goods retail merchandising strategy across product families and markets.
• Support sales forecasts, targets and category ambitions with stakeholders.
• Define central buying vision and core assortment principles by market and store profile.
• Coordinate merchandising activities during showroom and buying periods for all regions.
• Support the implementation of merchandising strategies and product launch plans.
• Prepare regular business analyses and translate data into recommendations for HQ and regions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to support stock management and product availability.
• Work with Collection Merchandising to ensure brand vision and commercial ambitions.
• Monitor market trends and client behaviors to inform opportunities.
• Strengthen Woman Leather Goods culture across buying and retail teams.
