ABB Motion in Europe/India seeks a Head of Product Development for Industrial Digital Solutions to lead digital IoT solution engineering across on-premise, edge and cloud, driving AI-enabled software development and secure-by-design practices.

You will lead a cross-functional team across cloud, edge, analytics and cybersecurity, align technology with business goals, and foster an innovation-driven culture while delivering scalable, customer-focused offerings.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership in digital solution engineering, software R&D, or IoT product development with multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands-on Azure cloud experience delivering complex digital products across hybrid environments.
• Strong business acumen linking technology to customer value and commercial outcomes; cybersecurity knowledge and secure development practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; experience with agile methodologies (SAFe) and modern engineering practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end digital IoT solution engineering and technology strategy.
• Drive development and delivery of complex digital IoT solutions across hybrid cloud and edge.
• Spearhead AI and agentic AI transformation in software processes and offerings.
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering leadership team across cloud, edge, analytics, cybersecurity.
• Own cybersecurity as a core function and embed secure-by-design throughout development.
• Establish agile delivery governance, metrics, and quality standards with balanced innovation and debt management.
• Foster cross-functional alignment with product management, architecture, operations, and stakeholders.
• Promote an innovation-driven engineering culture supporting scaling, talent development, and R&D transformation.
