Job summary

BDR Thermea Group is seeking a Category Manager – Indirect Procurement to drive procurement strategies across the Group from Bassano del Grappa or Barcelona. You will lead end-to-end procurement, build supplier relationships, and deliver cost-saving initiatives with senior stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in procurement across marketing, HR, consultancy and engineering services, and excel in negotiation, data analysis and influencing skills. Travel across the EU is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' procurement experience in categories Marketing, HR, Consultancy services and engineering services.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large contracts and complex high power suppliers.
• Proactive, able to collaborate across multi-functional matrix teams and markets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement of products and services, and site projects from supplier selection to contract management.
• Build strong supplier partnerships to ensure TCO, innovation, value, and long-term reliability.
• Negotiate high-value, complex contracts with service providers.
• Align with stakeholders to anticipate needs and deliver best-in-class procurement solutions.
• Develop a preferred supplier list with terms, schedules and KPI criteria.
