Dr. Schar is seeking a seasoned inbound logistics professional to support and implement the global procurement strategy, balancing cost and service levels.

You will manage strategic partnerships with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs, ensuring strong contract performance and KPI-driven results. The role requires a degree in logistics or related field, solid international logistics experience, and fluent English.

Competenze

• Degree in logistics or related field.
• Solid experience in international logistics / inbound transportation.
• Strong knowledge of road and sea transport, pricing models, and logistics contracts.
• Experience in supplier management, negotiation, and KPI-driven performance management.
• Analytical mindset with focus on cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement.
• Comfort working in cross-functional, multi-country environments.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Mansioni

• Support and implement the global inbound logistics procurement strategy with cost/service balance.
• Manage strategic partnerships with logistics providers and ensure contract/KPI/compliance performance.
• Define and monitor the global inbound logistics budget across regions.
• Drive cost-efficiency and benchmarking: RFQs, rate negotiations, optimization of transport flows and carrier allocation.
• Monitor operational performance and logistics risks; implement continuous improvement and business continuity actions.
• Foster digital integration and visibility with partners on EDI, tracking, and end-to-end transparency.
