OverIT is seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, payroll data integrity, and AI-driven process automation across Italy and other regions.

The role requires 5–8 years in People/HR Operations, strong Italian labor law knowledge, and fluency in Italian and English. Location-flexible across Italy with competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

What you’ll do

• Global Employee Lifecycle & Mobility: Manage the end-to-end operational employee journey—including contract creation, onboarding, probation tracking, role changes, offboarding, and global mobility/relocations—across our geographies.
• Payroll, Systems & Data Analytics: Support global payroll operations to ensure high-quality service delivery, maintain strict employee data security and integrity in our HRIS (HiBob), and build workforce reporting dashboards to guide business decisions.
• Process Transformation & AI Integration: Drive HR digitalization and continuous process optimization, acting as an operational power user of Generative AI tools and HiBob workflows to automate policies, templates, and repetitive tasks.
• Multi-Country Policy & SOP Standardization: Maintain and update global employee handbooks and internal SOPs to ensure continuous alignment with local legislation across all our operating regions.
• Fleet Management & Health & Safety: Oversee Italian Health & Safety compliance (D.Lgs. 81/08), systematically tracking mandatory medical checks and safety training, while managing corporate fleet administration (leases, traffic fines, fuel cards)

What you’ll need

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in People/HR Operations, ideally within fast-paced tech, SaaS, or international environments.
• Solid foundational grounding in Italian labor law (CCNL), Italian Health & Safety administrative tracking (D.Lgs 81/08), and payroll inputs/mechanics.
• Hands‑on experience with modern HRIS platforms (HiBob preferred) and daily comfort using Generative AI tools for workflow automation and documentation.
• Full professional fluency in both Italian and English with clear, structured communication skills for handling complex operational and employee queries.
• Process-driven and detail-oriented with high operational discipline; empathetic approach to employee experience; excited to take full ownership of the operational baseline as we scale.

What’s nice to have

• Direct experience scaling HR operations in a high-growth startup environment (scaling from ~100 to 500+ employees).
• Proven track record of building automated HR workflows or custom AI prompts/agents to eliminate manual data entry.
• Track record managing vendors across payroll, benefits, and compliance; proven implementation of AI/automation tools in HR operations.
• Baseline familiarity with US state and federal employment law and payroll tax compliance.

• The expected annual gross salary range for this position is €45,000–€55,000.
