Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Senior Buyer for the Satisloh Italy perimeter. You will support direct sourcing, drive cost reductions on machinery, and develop global contracts with key suppliers while ensuring IP protection, compliance, and sustainability.

You will manage regional RFIs/RFPs, coordinate with Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality, and optimize supplier base through LTAs and consignment stock where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of sourcing/purchasing practices and procedures.
• Experience in contract management and negotiations.
• Ability to manage RFQ/RFP/RFI processes and global supplier relationships.
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional negotiations and launch RFIs/RFPs/RFQs across the category using a total cost of ownership approach.
• Manage suppliers, consolidate vendors, and scout new suppliers.
• Evaluate sourcing risks and monitor supplier performance.
• Promote second-source projects and benchmark with other sites to optimize sourcing.
