Job summary

Welo Global is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our multinational European Finance team. You will own the monthly financial statements for several European entities and oversee revenue filings in line with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.

The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience (Workday desirable), and knowledge of EU VAT. Remote, international collaboration is essential, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Knowledge of EU VAT regulation and reporting.
• Accounting qualification with 2–3 years in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial statements for multiple European entities.
• Handle revenue and regulatory filings (US GAAP and local statutory).
• Manage outsourced payroll, local payroll and employer taxes monthly.
• Coordinate Global Transfer Pricing with external providers for annual TP documentation per country.
• Provide data for multi-currency weekly, monthly, and forecast working capital needs.
• Prepare and analyze Trial Balance and Financial Statements; perform TB reviews.
• Assist in audits and corporate tax compliance; support ad hoc accounting projects.
