BBVA in Lombardy, Italy seeks a Junior General Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant to support management control and cost monitoring in a dynamic, international environment. You will handle supplier onboarding, invoicing, reconciliations and year-end closings.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Economics, about 2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English; Italian native or C1 is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or related field.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable/receivable or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes and closings.

Aufgaben

• Supplier onboarding and approval.
• Review of contractual documentation and the accounts payable cycle.
• Recording, checking and payment of invoices.
• Account reconciliations and review of outstanding items.
• Processing of travel expenses.
• Support for periodic and year-end closings.
• Monitoring of actual costs versus budget and variance analysis.
• Participation in annual cost budgeting process.
• Maintenance of VAT and fixed asset registers.
• Accounts receivable invoicing and related controls.
• Review and accounting of fees with Head Office and compliance with deadlines.
• Support with tax compliance and tax payments.
