Rochester Executive is seeking a Global Commodity Manager – Engineering Technical Area to lead global technical procurement across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO. The role reports to the Procurement Director and manages a small team, coordinating with Operations, Finance and Legal to deploy commodity strategies worldwide.

The position requires a technical engineering degree, 10+ years in engineering procurement, and strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.

Competenze

Technical degree required, preferably in Engineering.
Proven seniority (10+ years’ experience) in a context where Engineering and Procurement are strictly connected.
Experience in managing engineering / technical procurement categories across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO.
Experience coordinating technical projects and cost optimisation initiatives.
Knowledge of TCO methodologies and supplier performance management.
Familiarity with SAP, Navision, D365 or Jaggaer is a plus.

Mansioni

Define and implement sourcing strategies across the Technical Procurement area.
Deploy commodity strategies and sourcing programmes for Engineering/Technical Procurement globally.
Lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiations and contract finalisation in cooperation with Legal.
Coordinate cost optimisation and value creation initiatives with Operations, Finance and Controlling.
Organise workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify best practices and value engineering.
