Job summary

BW Packaging seeks an experienced Lead, Engineering Excellence – Global Standards (Electrical) to develop and govern worldwide electrical engineering standards. You will define design standards, libraries, and documentation that enable consistent practices across sites and markets.

Responsibilities include collaborating with controls, product innovation, and operations teams to embed standards into workflows while ensuring compliance with global electrical codes and ERP/PLM readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electrical hardware design or standards development for industrial machinery.
• Deep knowledge of global electrical codes (NFPA, UL, CE, IEC).
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Defines global electrical design standards and templates for multiple product lines.
• Develops libraries, BOM structures, tagging, and documentation practices.
• Ensures compliance with IEC, UL, CE, NFPA and regional codes.
• Collaborates with controls engineers to align PLC, HMI, tagging conventions.
