KONE is seeking a Global Purchasing Specialist for Direct Materials based in Cadrezzate con Osmate, Italy. You will manage direct material sourcing for Modernization and Controls categories, lead supplier negotiations, and drive cost savings in a multinational setting.

The role requires a strong procurement background, fluent English and Italian, SAP familiarity, and willingness to travel within the EU. Gross annual salary starts at €48,000 with performance incentives and benefits.

Competenze

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (engineering, supply chain, or business).
3+ years of work experience in procurement or sourcing.
Experience leading supplier negotiations and managing relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers.
Familiarity with SAP is an asset.
Knowledge of electrification or electronics supply markets is an asset.
Ability to work independently in a multinational environment.
Fluent English and Italian; other languages are an asset.
Willingness for short business trips within the EU (and occasionally to China).

Mansioni

Works with the unit’s business functions to understand needs.
Manage all purchasing activities including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management for your own area of responsibility.
Act as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global/area category plans.
Identify and drive new cost savings initiatives to support profitability.
Manage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders.
