Loacker Austria is looking for a Global Digital Commerce & Digital Shelf Specialist in Bolzano. This role is vital for enhancing e-commerce performance across various sub-channels such as Marketplaces and DTC. You will work closely with local teams to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Economics or Business Administration, have at least 3 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate a strong analytical mindset. A collaborative spirit in an international context is essential, along with proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian or German is advantageous.

Global Digital Commerce & Digital Shelf Specialist

Tostrengthen our Global Digital Commerce team, we are looking for a Global Digital Commerce & Digital Shelf Specialist. This global role collaborates with local markets and global teams in improving e-commerce sub‑channels’ performance (Marketplaces, DTC, Quick Commerce, Social Commerce..) to enable the achievement of business objectives and potential exploitation. The role focuses on leveraging digital commerce performance and digital shelf insights, identifying improvement areas, and enabling optimization actions implementation across key commercial levers such as availability, pricing, promotions and digital shelf execution to drive the advancement of e-commerce business maturity across markets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local markets to maximize the capitalization of the digital commerce performance insights, lead business reviews, identify gaps (e.g. ineffective promotions and recommend adjustments to improve competitiveness and ROI) and translate them into targeted action plans.
• Drive and follow up acceleration initiatives by prioritizing key commercial levers to focus on, working cross‑functionally to resolve issues and improve execution quality.
• Work closely with local teams to improve operational execution across digital sub‑channels, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and maximizing channel performance (e.g. assortment mix efficiency, promo effectiveness) and ROI.
• Leverage performance and digital shelf insights to enable decisions, support key business activities (e.g. negotiations), and deploy Digital Shelf Analytics tools to identify issues and prioritize actions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to address execution gaps, resolve operational challenges.
• Drive the advancement of digital commerce maturity across markets by building operational capabilities through knowledge sharing and practical guidance, improving e‑commerce processes and ways of working.
• Actively engage with local markets to assess and deliver tailored solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Develop, share and operationalize best practices (guidelines, playbooks), and participate in/lead initiatives aimed at maximizing the exploitation of digital commerce business potential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in E‑commerce sales or operations (FMCG/CPG, Retail are strong advantage).
• Strong understanding of digital commerce dynamics and ability to translate insights into concrete actions.
• Experience with Digital Shelf Analytics platforms is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive attitude.
• Highly committed talent with communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international environment.
• Fluent in English, Italian and/or German is a plus.
