Job summary

Venchi, the Italian chocolate and gelato maker, is seeking a Purchasing Construction Specialist to join the Procurement Team. You will support international retail openings, restylings and renovations by managing sourcing and tender activities across construction-related categories, collaborating with Construction, Project Management, Design and Finance.

The ideal candidate has a degree in civil or related fields, 3+ years in construction procurement, strong Excel skills, and a data‑driven

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Construction Procurement or a related environment.
• Ability to read BOQs, technical specs, drawings and scopes.

Responsibilities

• Scout, screen and qualify new suppliers and contractors across markets.
• Manage end-to-end tenders across construction-related categories.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs with clear, comparable scopes.
• Review project docs with technical stakeholders to resolve ambiguities.
• Analyse proposals and provide sourcing recommendations.
• Lead commercial negotiations for cost/quality/lead time terms.
• Identify value engineering and cost-optimisation opportunities.
• Support supplier selection, contract review and onboarding.
• Monitor supplier performance and procure KPIs.
