Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Connected Devices in Rome. Lead medium-to-large multi-regional projects across all clinical trial phases, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and in line with policies and procedures.

You will serve as primary sponsor contact, drive resource planning, manage risks, and report progress to stakeholders. Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related project management experience in connected devices.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in multi-regional projects.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines and risks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, execute, control, and deliver projects per Scope of Work.
• Serve as primary sponsor contact to ensure communication and reporting.
• Drive resource planning and support the project team throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead Connected Devices cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
• Track progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions.
• Manage project financials, revenue recognition, and change orders.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and SOPs.
• Present project information at internal and external meetings.
• Conduct End of Project reviews to close out all activities.
• Keep leadership informed of issues impacting quality, budget, or timeline.
• Train and mentor new or junior project managers.
• Provide input on team performance for career development.
