Job summary

Fayat in Fontanellato is seeking a Commodity Buyer to define and drive strategies that optimize quality and cost for the Metal commodity within Cleantech. You will join DULEVO’s local procurement team and coordinate with Purchasing and Commodity Manager.

You’ll manage supplier portfolios, participate in global negotiations, and contribute to make-or-buy decisions. Requires a Master’s degree in purchasing or supply chain, 3–5 years’ experience, fluent English, and travel readiness.

Mission

Become the linchpin in our Purchasing organization! If you're looking to get into an international career, this role is for you! As a Commodity Buyer, you define and coordinate the strategies that optimize the quality and cost of our products.

As a Commodity Buyer, you represent one of the commodities within Cleantech, which is organized according to a matrix structure. DULEVO, part of the Cleantech organization, plays an important role in this. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of our procurement processes for the Commodity Metal.

You will be part of DULEVO's local procurement team and report both to DULEVO's Purchasing Manager and functionally to your Commodity Manager. Your expertise and strategic insight are crucial to the success of our organization.

What will you do?

• Coordinating the Commodity Team;
• Define, roll out and monitor the commodity strategy;
• Managing the supplier portfolio and dealing with critical suppliers;
• Participate in meetings and global negotiations with key suppliers;
• Stimulating and co-managing technical savings with engineering;
• Participate in make-or-buy decisions.

Profil recherché

Who will you be working for?

• Master Degree, preferably in the field of purchasing management or supply chain management;
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• You have excellent communication skills in English in word and writing.
• You are able to flexibly combine both your soft skills and a result-oriented approach;
• You are flexible, proactive and have a solution-oriented mind-set;
• You are able to motivate, inspire and guide the team towards achieving the objectives of Cleantech;
• Technical knowledge or affinity is required.
