Job summary

Dürr Systems Italy S.p.A. is a global leader in automotive assembly systems and part of the Dürr Group. We seek an experienced mechanical engineer to design automation equipment, lead cross‑functional teams, and ensure project success in international settings.

The role requires a master’s in engineering, 5–8 years in automation or automotive sectors, and fluency in Chinese and English. Travel to client sites is expected; strong documentation and FMEA skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in automation or automotive sectors.
• Strong knowledge of design software AutoCAD and SolidWorks (mandatory).
• Experience in international environments and with cross‑entity coordination.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems for automation equipment in automotive industry.
• Coordinate a team of mechanical designers/engineers from different entities.
• Supervise design and validation activities and project timelines.
• Interface with clients and internal departments (production, quality, site, PM, R&D, controls).
• Manage technical specifications and project documentation; perform FMEA analyses.
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement of technical solutions.
