Job summary

Beinasco, Turin-based Dürr Group is seeking an Application Engineer for Conveyor & Marriage Solutions. You will develop automotive automation concepts focusing on AGV/AMR, conveyors, and decking systems.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and our international Dürr entities to deliver technically sound solutions. The role requires travel to customers and Dürr sites as needed, fluent Italian and English, and a background in mechanical engineering or automation.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation or similar.
• Several years in application or project engineering environments.
• Experience with AGVs/AMRs and conveyor systems.
• Ability to translate customer needs into feasible technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel to customers and Dürr sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests, layouts and production requirements.
• Develop technical concepts for AGV, AMR, marriage and decking systems.
• Define system architecture, interfaces and technical boundaries.
• Prepare layouts, process descriptions and proposal material.
• Translate requirements into scopes of supply and exclusions.
• Coordinate technical work packages and drive topics to closure.
• Support customer meetings and concept presentations.
• Develop reusable modules and technical templates.
• Capture lessons learned to improve standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams.
