Azienda Anonima in Lombardy, Italy is seeking an experienced AI Engineer – Full Stack to design and build next-generation AI-powered products. You will own end-to-end Generative AI systems, from data ingestion and retrieval to production deployment, in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires leading RAG architectures, integrating multiple LLMs, building scalable APIs, and collaborating with frontend teams.

Competenze

5+ years of Software Engineering experience with Generative AI tech.
Strong experience with Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js (Express or NestJS).
Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, and AI Agent development.
Solid understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and knowledge management.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases.

Mansioni

Design, develop, and maintain LLM-based Generative AI pipelines with low latency.
Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions with embeddings and vector search.
Design Graph RAG architectures leveraging knowledge graphs for reasoning and traceability.
Develop AI Agents and orchestrated workflows using function calling and multi-step reasoning.
Integrate leading AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral) and evaluate trade-offs.
Create scalable REST APIs and backend services for AI capabilities.
Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver conversational AI interfaces.
Optimize AI applications for scalability, reliability, and cost in cloud environments.
Implement security best practices and prompt injection mitigation.
