Azienda Anonima in Trieste is seeking an experienced AI Engineer – Full Stack to design and develop next-generation AI-powered products, spanning data ingestion, knowledge retrieval, and production deployment.

You will build end-to-end Generative AI systems, collaborate with frontend teams, optimize for scalability and cost, and implement secure, scalable REST APIs and backend services using Python and Node.js.

Competenze

• 5+ years in Software Engineering with Generative AI focus.
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js (Express/NestJS).
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration (LangChain/LangGraph).
• Strong knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, knowledge graphs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases.
• Frontend familiarity with React or Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication, scalable architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain LLM-based Generative AI pipelines.
• Build RAG solutions with embeddings, vector search, and re-ranking.
• Design Graph RAG architectures leveraging knowledge graphs.
• Develop AI Agents and orchestrated workflows with function calling.
• Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Llama, Mistral models.
• Create scalable REST APIs and backend services for frontends.
• Work with vector (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector) and Neo4j DBs.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on AI-powered UIs.
• Optimize for scalability, reliability, and cost in cloud environments.
• Implement security best practices and prompt injection mitigations.
• Monitor AI systems with evaluation frameworks and latency metrics.
