Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Italy is hiring a Senior AI/Cloud Engineer to implement Python-based generative AI solutions. You will build serverless AWS architectures, expose outcomes via APIs, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Docker.

You will design infrastructure as code with Terraform and contribute to internal libraries. You will collaborate across teams, document results, and help spread GenAI culture while interfacing with business units.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML workflows.
• Minimum 2 years using generative AI models in real projects.
• Experience with embeddings and Pinecone.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Hands-on AWS serverless experience (Lambda, etc.).
• Familiar with Terraform, CI/CD and Docker.
• Proactive, collaborative and fast-prototyping mindset.
• Excellent English; Italian fluent or native is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement Python-based solutions using generative AI models.
• Structure cloud projects with serverless AWS architectures.
• Expose solutions via APIs for external systems.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and Docker packaging.
• Design and manage IaC with Terraform.
• Contribute to shared libraries and internal frameworks.
• Document work and support architectural evolution.
