SDG Group Italy is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy scalable cloud architectures, primarily in GCP, with an emphasis on automation and secure governance. You will implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps to streamline data technology projects across teams.

The role requires 2+ years in cloud infra, strong Python/bash scripting, and English communication for global collaboration. Hybrid or remote work options offered within Italy.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent training.
• +2 years of GCP infra management experience, with AWS/Azure a plus.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and CI/CD.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud IAM, RBAC and Secret Manager for security and governance.
• English communication to collaborate with global teams.

Mansioni

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructures, mainly GCP, across SDG Group teams.
• Develop IaC scripts to automate deployment of cloud resources.
• Evaluate and optimize cloud architecture for performance and cost.
• Implement GitOps processes for infrastructure management.
• Write scripts (Python/bash) to automate repetitive tasks.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure changes.
• Stay updated on cloud best practices and technologies.
