HHLA PLT Italy is seeking a Gate Manager to lead gate-in/gate-out operations, Interfaces with gate clerks, ISPS, and terminal stakeholders in Trieste. You will supervise the Gate Coordinator and Gate Operators on daily shifts and occasionally night shifts for 24/7 operations.

The role requires strong logistics knowledge, KPIs management, and the ability to coordinate across internal and external partners to ensure cargo integrity and operational efficiency.

Competenze

• University degree in logistics, maritime and port, or related engineering.
• Experience in container shipping end-to-end is desirable.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Take decisions for smooth and productive gate-in/gate-out operations and minimize time loss.
• Plan operations resources and supervise shifts and holidays.
• Organize continuous training for department employees and set tasks and priorities.
• Ensure gate operations continuity and 24/7 terminal support when needed.
• Track gate operations and KPI reporting for management.
• Coordinate with external depots, ICD, and shipping partners to meet requirements.
