Technoprobe S.p.A. in Lombardy is seeking an MLC/MLO Designer to design and optimize circuit layouts based on customer specs, focusing on placement, routing, and SI/PI considerations to ensure electrical performance.

The role involves collaboration with the mechanical team, manufacturing-focused design optimization, and producing Gerber files, BOMs, stack-ups, and fabrication drawings.

Competenze

• Proficient in PCB design using CAD tools (Cadence Allegro).
• Experience with PCB/MLO technologies and high-speed design considerations.
• Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) issues.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Good knowledge of technical English.

The MLC/MLO Designer is responsible for the design, development, and optimization of circuit layouts in compliance with the electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing specifications of the product.

Main Responsibilities

• Layout design starting from customer-provided specifications;
• Component placement and routing optimized for electrical performance;
• Signal assignment to meet customer requirements and optimize performance;
• Design Rule Check (DRC) verification and compliance with company and regulatory standards;
• Collaboration with the mechanical team to ensure design integration;
• Design optimization for manufacturing (DFM – Design for Manufacturing) and assembly (DFA);
• Preparation of technical documentation (Gerber files, BOM, stack-up, fabrication drawings);
• Support during the debugging phase;
• Interface with MLC/MLO suppliers and manufacturers.

Requisiti

• Knowledge of PCB design CAD tools (Cadence Allegro);
• Knowledge of PCB/MLO Technologies;
• Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) issues;
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics;
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
• Good knowledge of technical English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed design (memory, high-speed links);
• Experience with IPC standards.
