Job summary

Societe Generale Securities Services - SGSS in Italy offers a traineeship in the Fund Service Operations Department, Private Equity and Real Estate. You will support accounting operations for Alternative Investment Funds (OFIs) and report to the Head of PER Fund Accounting.

The role focuses on hands-on learning, teamwork, and progression in administrative, operational, monitoring and control activities related to financial and accounting reference operations within SGSS.

Qualifications

• Economics undergraduate currently working on their thesis.

Responsibilities

• Assist operational functions in managing accounting operations for financial reference operations.
• Support monitoring and control activities relevant to accounting operations.
• Gain knowledge of AIF products, PER Fund Administration tools, and transfer agency processes.

Mission

The trainee will be part of the Fund Service Operations Department, Private Equity and Real Estate, which is dedicated to the services provided to the Alternative Investment Funds (OFIs) and will report directly to the Head of PER Fund Accounting.

Responsibilities

Mission: The trainee will be part of the Fund Service Operations Department, Private Equity and Real Estate, which is dedicated to the services provided to the Alternative Investment Funds (OFIs) and will report directly to the Head of PER Fund Accounting.

Tasks and responsibilities

The trainee will be supported and will assist operational functions in the management of accounting operations by taking part in the management of administrative, operational, monitoring and control activities relevant to the financial and accounting reference operations and will progressively acquire more knowledge and operational capabilities related to:

• AIF products
• PER Fund Administration tools
• AIF Fund administration accountancy
• Tax, reporting and reconciliations
• Transfer Agency (quote management)

Studies & experience

• Economics undergraduate who is currently working on their thesis

Language skills

• Italian: C2
• English: B2
