Job summary

Doctolib Milano is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join the Engineering team for six months. You will build features that directly impact care teams and patients across Europe, collaborating with product managers and designers. You’ll work in a hybrid setup and gain access to AI-powered coding tools while learning a modern stack.

You are a final-year student in Software Engineering or CS, fluent in English, and eager to learn and apply AI-assisted coding in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 6-month full-time internship in software engineering.
• Final-year student in software engineering, CS or related field.
• Fluent in English and eager to learn AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own features alongside experienced engineers — from design and development to testing and shipping — with a direct impact on real users
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare tools
• Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer review
• Solve real-world problems that directly enhance patient care and improve doctor-patient relationships
• Explore new tools and technologies, including AI and distributed systems, as part of your continuous growth
• Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration by sharing knowledge and engaging actively with your team
