Job summary

Doctolib GmbH is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to join the Tech team in Milan or other European locations. You will work with AI and software engineers to prototype, evaluate, and improve AI-powered features for healthcare professionals and patients.

You will write Python code, experiment with language models, and contribute to tests and documentation. The internship offers mentoring, hands-on AI projects, and the chance to contribute to production systems while learning in a collaborative,

Qualifications

Final year student in CS/AI/SE or related field.
Basic Python experience from coursework or projects.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and data structures.
Proficient English communication.
Interest in AI systems and healthcare context.

Responsibilities

Contribute to development of AI features and services under guidance.
Write Python code to support prototypes, experiments, evaluation tools, and backend components.
Experiment with large language models, prompting techniques, retrieval, and tool integration.
Contribute to automated tests and documentation for developed components.
Investigate issues, analyze results, and propose improvements to the team.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team rituals.
