Job summary

Doctolib in Milan is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to join our Tech team and contribute to AI-powered features in healthcare. You will work with experienced AI and software engineers across experimentation to production, writing Python code and supporting prototypes.

The internship runs six months, full-time, with mentorship, hybrid work up to two remote days per week, and exposure to tools like Langchain and modern AI APIs. Start date March 2027; salary 1000€ gross per month.

Qualifications

Currently in the final year of a degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Basic experience with Python through coursework or projects.
Understanding of programming concepts and data structures.
Proficient in English communication.
Interest in AI and healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of AI features and services under guidance.
Write Python code to support prototypes, experiments, evaluation tools, and backend components.
Experiment with large language models, prompting techniques, retrieval, and tool integration.
Contribute to automated tests and documentation for the components you develop.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
