Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking a dedicated Educational Interpreter of the Deaf for a full-time, on-site assignment in our school network. The interpreter will provide ASL interpretation for a student throughout a typical school day, adhering to IEP mandates and collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure language access.

The role requires strong ASL skills, understanding of the educational interpreter's responsibilities, and commitment to confidentiality.

Formación

• Strong American Sign Language skills and interpreting qualifications.
• Ability to follow IEP-mandated schedules and interpret all class activities.
• Maintain confidentiality per RID Code of Conduct and district policy.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret for students as scheduled by IEP.
• Interpret lectures, discussions, films, assemblies and assignments.
• Collaborate with educational team and staff on lesson plans and in-service for staff.
