Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking an Educational Interpreter of the Deaf for a part-time assignment to provide ASL interpreting for a preschool student from 8:00-11:30 Tuesday-Friday. The role emphasizes facilitating communication in inclusive, mainstream, and self-contained settings with a competitive salary and STRS offered.

• Familiar with Ohio Guidelines for Educational Interpreters.
• Follow classroom schedule and interpret for students per the IEP.
• Interpret all class activities including lectures, films, discussions, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with the educational team and provide staff in-service on working with a DHH student.
• Maintain confidentiality per policy and RID Code of Conduct.
• Pursue professional development in signing and interpreting.
• Attend all in-service and professional development sessions.
