Generator is seeking an exceptional Assistant Front of House Manager for our Rome property near the Colosseum. You will support the Front of House Manager, lead a passionate FOH team and help deliver unforgettable guest experiences in a fast-paced, social hospitality environment.

You are a strong leader and communicator, comfortable coaching staff, managing guest requests, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

ABOUT GENERATOR ROME

Just a short walk from the colosseum and Roma Termini station, Generator’s most recent opening is perfectly situated in Italy’s capital. The interior is a tapestry of Roman heritage with 75 intricately styled rooms.

Set over seven floors, Generator Rome includes a bar and chill-out lounge. We look forward to sharing all of it with you!

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Supporting and reporting into Front of House Manager
• Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience
• Strive to continuously “raise the bar” by improving standards of performance, redefining the hostel experience by achieving outstanding customer satisfaction
• Ensure that our social spaces embody the Generator brand and culture
• Play a part in ensuring that there is a responsible person (duty manager) onsite at all times
• Build and lead a FOH team who get Generator and want to be themselves
• Ensure that your team remains up to date with all local, national and international trends
• Communicate effectively and appropriately in all directions so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local legislation and regulations pertaining to your department

WHAT’S IN YOUR DNA

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working in the hospitality industry and in a similar role
• Possess a high level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities in addition to excellent leadership skills
• Competent level of IT proficiency
• Conversant in at least one Property Management System
