Job summary

ERG Media is seeking a junior video editor to craft performance ad content for paid channels, primarily Meta. Work with our in-house videographer and marketing team to turn shoot footage into short-form ads that stop the scroll and sell.

Responsibilities include editing for 9:16/4:5/1:1 formats, producing multiple variations, adding motion graphics and captions, and fast turnarounds with feedback. On-site in central London; freelance/contractor through mid-December 2026 with possible extension.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of editing experience or a strong portfolio of social and ad work.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a plus.
• Understanding of what makes paid social work: hooks, pacing, safe zones and sound-off viewing.
• Good eye for typography and premium aesthetics; interest in cars/books/design is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video ads for Meta in formats 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 (Reels, Stories).
• Create multiple variations and hooks per concept for testing.
• Add motion graphics, captions, text overlays and sound design to brand standards.
• Turn briefs around quickly and incorporate feedback on ad performance.
• Keep project files, assets, and exports organized.
