THE LANGUAGE GROUP is seeking a remote healthcare interpreter to accurately convey messages between patients and providers. The role requires adherence to ethical standards and patient confidentiality, with on-demand interpretation from a home office.

Applicants should have 3+ years of interpreting experience (OPI/VRI preferred), relevant certifications, and 40+ hours of interpreter training. Fluency in English and the target language is essential, along with a quiet, professional work setup.

Qualificações

• 3 years minimum interpreting experience (OPI/VRI preferred).
• National or State Interpreter Certification (CHI/CMI/NIC/CI/CT/VQAS).
• Knowledge of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology in source and target language.
• 40 hours or more interpreter training.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, customer service, time management and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrate fluency in English and the target language and be able to provide fluency test results.
• A working computer with headset and high-speed internet connection.
• Confidential, quiet call environment.
