Job summary

Satispay is seeking a Fraud Data Analyst to secure the future of digital payments by architecting sophisticated real-time defense strategies. You will design and deploy logic that combines ML scores with velocity features for millisecond decisions, translate fraud patterns into high-performing rules, and proactively hunt for emerging schemes to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of professional experience in risk, payments, or credit.
• Strong SQL and Python for data analysis and strategy development.
• Solid understanding of payment fraud dynamics and real-time decisioning environments.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Nice to have: ML, Data Science, PySpark, GraphQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Architect Real-Time Strategies for our real-time decisioning engine.
• Translate fraud patterns into high-performing rules and optimize FP rate vs. loss.
• Deconstruct payment fraud and develop end-to-end mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define analytical requirements for new features and data signals.
• Calibrate ML models with heuristic rules to optimize decision quality.
• Analyze security measures to reduce friction and improve user experience.
• Monitor rule efficacy and portfolio health, reporting to senior leadership.
