Generative Group is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join client delivery teams, identifying valuable use cases and delivering solutions from discovery to production on Foundry and AIP.

You will build data pipelines, ontologies and Workshop apps, collaborate with founders and senior stakeholders, and be prepared for substantial travel across northern Italy.

Qualifications

What the job entails

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work within client delivery teams, helping organisations identify valuable use cases and implement solutions from initial discovery through to production. You will build data pipelines and applications, develop Ontologies and use Workshop, and contribute to end‑to‑end delivery on Foundry and AIP. The role also includes some work on non‑Palantir technologies for smaller businesses.

You will work directly with client teams and senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and communicating technical ideas clearly, including at boardroom level. You will collaborate closely with founders and delivery leads in a hands‑on, fast‑moving environment, where priorities may evolve as projects progress.

The role is on‑site, with substantial travel to client sites in northern Italy—typically around one to two weeks per month if you are not based in Milan. Former or current Palantir candidates may be based in London; other candidates must be able to relocate to Milan.

Key requirements / What we look for

• Former or current Palantir FDE, Forward Deployed Software Engineer or Deployment Strategist; or 2+ years’ recent, hands‑on Foundry/AIP delivery experience elsewhere.
• Strong Python or PySpark and SQL skills, with experience building data pipelines, Ontologies and Workshop applications.
• Proven ownership of client deployments, from bootcamp or discovery through to production.
• Confident leading client workshops and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, regular travel and an equity‑led package.
• Relevant right to work in the UK or EU/Italy, depending on location.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: €80,000–€130,000, alongside a bonus and an equity.
