Borgo Lifestyle Group, headquartered in Florence, seeks a highly creative Floral Director to lead the Floristry department at Relais Borgo Santo Pietro in Chiusdino. You will combine leadership with hands-on floral design and oversee luxury arrangements for guests, events, and estate spaces.

Ideal candidates show senior floristry or creative direction experience in luxury hospitality, with strong Italian and English communication to coordinate with events teams and suppliers.

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Floral Director to lead and oversee the entire Floristry department at Relais Borgo Santo Pietro in Chiusdino. You will combine strong leadership and organizational skills with exceptional technical expertise, creativity, and a hands‑on approach to floral design.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and supervise the Floristry team, ensuring high standards of quality, creativity, presentation, and service.
• Oversee daily floral operations across the property, including guest rooms, restaurants, common areas, and the Flower House, while remaining hands‑on in floral design and arrangements.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and Gardening, ensuring daily floral requirements are met and making the best use of flowers and botanical elements grown on the estate.
• Manage flower suppliers and deliveries, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, quality control, and proper storage of flowers and floral materials.
• Lead bespoke floral projects for weddings, private events, buyouts, guest celebrations, and special occasions; working directly with guests to develop concepts and collaborating with the Events team to manage requirements, timelines, logistics, and execution from initial brief to final installation.
• Oversee event preparations and installations, coordinating the Floristry team and ensuring multiple projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards, while also overseeing floral composition classes at the Flower House, and daily hotel operations.

Who You Are

• Proven experience in a senior floristry, floral design, or creative direction role, preferably within luxury hospitality, weddings, or high‑end events.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing a team.
• Highly skilled in floral composition and design, with strong knowledge of flowers, plants, foliage, and floral techniques.
• Excellent ability to develop creative concepts and detailed floral projects, translating guest's vision into a cohesive final design.
• Previous experience managing weddings, private events, and buyouts.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and exceptional attention to detail.
