Job summary

Carel Industries s.p.a is seeking a firmware engineer to maintain and evolve embedded firmware for existing products. You will manage firmware updates, investigate issues, and ensure reliability and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Quality, Laboratory, Operations and suppliers, contributing to reviews, testing and certification activities while maintaining proper documentation and version control with Git.

Qualifications

• Experience developing embedded firmware for microcontrollers and electronic systems.
• Ability to manage firmware updates and product evolutions across the lifecycle.
• Proven skills in testing, debugging and validation of firmware.

The selected candidate will join the Product Care team and will be responsible for the maintenance, improvement and evolution of embedded firmware for existing products. The role involves managing firmware updates and technical issues throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring product reliability, quality and regulatory compliance.

Specifically, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• developing, maintaining and improving embedded firmware for microcontrollers and electronic systems;
• managing firmware updates and product evolutions, contributing to the definition of software and system requirements;
• investigating technical issues and carrying out testing, debugging and validation activities;
