CAREL is seeking a firmware engineer to join the Product Care team in Italy. You will maintain and evolve embedded firmware for existing products, manage updates, and contribute to system requirements and testing throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include debugging, validation, documentation, and collaboration with Quality, Lab, Operations and suppliers while supporting reviews and certifications to ensure reliability and compliance.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Good knowledge of microcontroller architectures and real-time systems.
• Experience in firmware testing, debugging and validation, and software versioning with Git.

Mansioni

• Develop, maintain and improve embedded firmware for microcontrollers and electronic systems.
• Manage firmware updates and product evolutions across the lifecycle.
• Investigate issues, perform testing, debugging and validation activities.
• Maintain software components, documentation and version control with Git.
• Collaborate with Quality, Laboratory, Operations and suppliers, supporting reviews and certifications.
