Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Finishing Production Engineer to support and optimize finishing department processes at the Sedico plant in Belluno, Italy. You will analyze metrics, improve efficiency, and develop managerial skills while working with the assembly line.

The role requires a master's in engineering or data science, strong problem solving, Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP. You will monitor KPIs, assist scheduling, ensure quality, and contribute to safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Data Science is required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Good relationship skills and team collaboration are important.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, etc.) is expected.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support in monitoring and analyzing efficiency and OEE KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in production scheduling, detection of deviations, and proposal of corrective actions to ensure process reliability.
• Contribute to monitoring of quality KPIs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Learn and apply delegation and teamwork within the production environment.
• Support supervision of product quality checks within the assigned production area.
• Gain understanding of work cycles and production methods.
• Support activities related to workplace safety and participate in risk assessment initiatives.

Your role

We are looking for a Finishing Production Engineer who will support and optimize the production processes in the Finishing Department at our Operations Plant in Sedico (BL), Italy.

This role offers the opportunity to analyze key metrics, improve production efficiency, and develop managerial skills while working with our assembly line.

Main Responsibilities

• Support in monitoring and analyzing efficiency and OEE KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in production scheduling, detection of deviations, and proposal of corrective actions to ensure process reliability.
• Contribute to the monitoring of quality KPIs and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with standards.
• Learn and apply the principles of delegation and teamwork within the production environment.
• Support the supervision of product quality checks within the assigned production area.
• Gain understanding of work cycles, production methods.
• Support activities related to workplace safety and participate in risk assessment initiatives.

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (main functions, pivot tables, advanced sorting etc..).
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
