EssilorLuxottica in Sedico, Italy, seeks a Finishing Production Engineer to support and optimize the finishing department processes on site. You will analyze key metrics, drive efficiency, and develop managerial skills while working with the assembly line.

This role offers exposure to KPI-driven production improvements, collaboration across teams, and opportunities to contribute to safety initiatives and quality governance within the plant.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Data Sience field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good relationship skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced sorting).
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support in monitoring and analyzing efficiency and OEE KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in production scheduling, detection of deviations, and proposal of corrective actions to ensure process reliability.
• Contribute to the monitoring of quality KPIs and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with standards.
• Learn and apply the principles of delegation and teamwork within the production environment.
• Support the supervision of product quality checks within the assigned production area.
• Gain understanding of work cycles, production methods.
• Support activities related to workplace safety and participate in risk assessment initiatives.

Your role

We are looking for a Finishing Production Engineer who will support and optimize the production processes in the Finishing Department at our Operations Plant in Sedico (BL), Italy.

This role offers the opportunity to analyze key metrics, improve production efficiency, and develop managerial skills while working with our assembly line.

Main responsibilities

• Support in monitoring and analyzing efficiency and OEE KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in production scheduling, detection of deviations, and proposal of corrective actions to ensure process reliability.
• Contribute to the monitoring of quality KPIs and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with standards.
• Learn and apply the principles of delegation and teamwork within the production environment.
• Support the supervision of product quality checks within the assigned production area.
• Gain understanding of work cycles, production methods.
