CATL in Milano is seeking a senior finance professional to lead accounting, tax compliance, and financial planning. You will oversee month-end closings, coordinate with external auditors, manage budgets/forecasts, and maintain fixed assets records while driving system optimizations with IT.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in Italian finance, strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS (China GAAP preferred), and fluency in English; Italian and Chinese are a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• At least 8 years of experience in finance in Italy.
• Familiar with Italian Fiscal Tax system, local practice, Italian GAAP and IFRS; China GAAP preferred.
• Excellent English; Italian and Chinese advantageous.
• Strong communication, high responsibility, and willingness to continuously improve.

• Responsible for tax compliance and liaising with external consultants and tax authorities to file returns and reports.
• Oversee month-end close, assist with external audits, verify accuracy of financials and resolve discrepancies.
• Review expenses and approvals; manage PL and CF budget/forecast preparation and control.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and inventory; coordinate with IT for system optimization.
• Collaborate with banks and handle financial files; identify and summarize issues and implement solutions.

Responsibility：

• Responsible for tax compliance. Communicate with external consultants and tax authorities to complete tax returns and legally required compliance reports in a timely manner. Review local tax returns to ensure the accuracy and compliance of tax payments. Assist with tax audits and other tax-related issues.
• In charge of accounting and disclosure, responsible for month-end closing in time, assist with external audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies and etc.
• Expenses review and analysis and payment approval process.
• Responsible for PL and CF budget / forecast preparation and management.
• Actively participate in financial projects and company-wide initiatives.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and inventory stock take.
• Collaborate with IT to complete system optimization.
• Other financial work, including but not limited to coordinating with local banks, managing financial files, identifying and summarizing financial issues encountered in daily work, providing solutions, and implementing solutions afterward.

Requirements

• Bachelor above, at least 8 years working experience in finance or accounting department in Italy
• Must familiar with Italian Fiscal Tax system and local practice, with Italian GAAP and IFRS , familiar with China GAAP is preferred;
• Excellent English is must, Italian and Chinese will be preferred;
• Have excellent communication skills, high sense of responsibility, strong learning ability and constantly improve working ability.
