Overview

Randstad Italia Spa, Florence branch, is looking for a Finance Specialist - Project Control for a major multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector. We offer an initial 12-month temporary contract with the possibility of direct placement in the company. CCNL Metalworking Industry, level B2-B1, commensurate with the candidate's experience, plus meal vouchers. Possibility of smart working.

Responsibilities
  • As E&P Project Controller, you will be a key member of the Equipment & Projects Finance team, partnering closely with the Project Management organization.
  • Leverage data and analysis to drive decision-making with a focus on simplification, precision, and controllership governance.
  • Partner with Project Managers to provide governance and control on project costs.
  • Lead Project Margin Reviews to define the project margin for revenue recognition.
  • Assess exposures, risks, and opportunities to cost estimates and requirements for specific reserves.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis versus budgets and benchmarks to identify productivity opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic digitization and simplification projects (e.g., systems implementation, cross-functional processes, RPA) as a team leader or member.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
  • Relevant working experience, preferably in the finance team of a multinational company.
  • Experience with financial systems (Oracle, OBEII).
