Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. is seeking a Senior Product Owner (Finance) to own the finance product area, spanning General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and core financial processes.

The role ensures a backlog delivers compliant, auditable, and timely financial reporting while aligning with design and security standards and SAP S/4HANA integrations. You will curate, prioritise, and manage the finance backlog, collaborating with Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering finance capabilities in a major programme.
• Strong stakeholder management up to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of SAP finance processes and S/4HANA Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the finance product backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Security, and delivery teams.
• Ensure strong UAT and traceability from requirements to test outcomes.
• Balance regulatory needs, financial control, performance and risk reduction to deliver incremental value.
