Job summary

Edgewing is seeking a Senior Product Owner (Finance) to own and shape the finance product area—spanning GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and other core processes. You will manage a value-prioritized backlog that supports statutory compliance, financial control, auditability, and timely reporting.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects and cross-functional teams to ensure SAP S/4HANA integrations meet objectives and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and prioritizing a finance product backlog.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and related financial systems.
• Strong collaboration with analysts and architects.

Responsibilities

• Curate, prioritise, and manage the finance product backlog across features, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Balance compliance, financial control, performance, and risk to deliver incremental value.
• Refine requirements with Business Analysts to confirm delivery readiness.
• Coordinate with Architecture and Security for design decisions and integration points.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective action when required.
• Partner with Testing to ensure robust UAT and traceability from requirements to tests.
