Agilité Solutions in Milan seeks a Finance Manager to estimate costs of future works and oversee project budgets for construction tenders. You will monitor costs, margins and financial health, guiding senior executives in strategic decisions for both short and long term success.

The role covers evaluating profitability, coordinating with internal and external partners, and ensuring financial policies are maintained across projects.

Competenze

  • Architect, engineer or quantity surveyor, or studies in business school, specialising in the construction sector
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a finance manager
  • Fluency in Italian and English; other European languages are a plus

Mansioni

  • Manage preliminary and resource costs with understanding of project terms
  • Predict future risks, opportunities and associated costs/revenues

Agilité is looking for a finance manager to join its team in Milan, with the new colleague taking on the important role of estimating the costs of future works.

Agilité is hiring for a finance manager to join its team in Milan, with the new colleague taking on the important role of estimating the costs of future works. They are responsible for analysing the costs of construction projects to ensure the business can successfully respond to tenders.

As Agilité’s reputation and portfolio continue to grow, the Finance Manager will be accountable for overseeing budgets, monitoring costs and profit margins and guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in both the short and long term.

Key responsibilities will include managing each project’s overall financial position and matching it – or improving upon – pre-agreed targets, while also keeping an accurate track of all expenses, liabilities and projected costs through financial management tools.

What it takes to be a finance manager at Agilité?
Key responsibilities.
  • Managing preliminary and resource costs, with a strong understanding of project contractual terms
  • Predicting and identifying future risks, opportunities and associated costs or revenues
  • Identifying and quantifying the costs and activities required for all works included in the specifications and bills of quantities, considering production time, materials and labour
  • Taking ownership of project profitability by allocating budgets for each element of a construction project
  • Supervising changes to the financial aspects of ongoing project deliveries
  • Analysing the legal, technical and financial risks of each project
  • Researching and proposing technical and economic solutions
  • Selecting companies and proposing partnerships
  • Managing communications and relationships with internal and external technical and purchasing departments
  • Evaluating the profitability and viability of projects, making recommendations to the delivery team
  • Participating in the preliminary financial phase of projects
  • Consulting with suppliers, including organising and analysing offers
  • Researching and analysing financial reports and market trends
  • Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for Agilité
  • Tracking the company’s financial health and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Technical skills.

Qualifications.
  • Architect, engineer or quantity surveyor, or studies in business school, specialising in the construction sector

  • Salary range: €37,000 - 45,000
