Tailor&Fox Srl is seeking a Head of Finance for the Leasing sector in Milan. You will lead the finance function, acting as a strategic partner reporting to the CFO and managing a 5–10 person team across Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Controlling & Budgeting, and Treasury.

The role involves coordinating reports to Management, HQ Finance, the Board, and regulators. We require a Master’s in Finance/Accounting, 10+ years in Finance/Controlling within leasing or financial services, strong IAS/IFRS

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years in Finance/Controlling within leasing/banking/financial services or regulated banking.
• Excellent knowledge of IAS/IFRS principles.
• Italian tax, accounting and Bank of Italy reporting regulations knowledge, Centrale Rischi.
• Excellent MS Office skills; fluent Italian and professional English.

• Coordinate and prepare financial reports for Management, HQ Finance, Board, and Bank of Italy.
• Monitor accounting control, certify accounting quality and tax compliance.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow and asset-liability management (ALM).
• Coordinate Budget and Forecast processes.

Our client is a leading International company in the leasing sector. For the strengthening of its local structure, it has asked us to search for the following professional figure:

HEAD OF FINANCE – LEASING SECTOR

This role will lead the function, acting as a key colleague across businesses and functions, as well as a strategic management partner within the organization, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and managing a team of 5/10.

Main Responsabilities:

• Coordinate and prepare the commercial and financial reports for the Management, the HQ Finance Division, the Board of Directors and Bank of Italy.
• Monitor and organize the accounting control and certify the accounting quality and the compliance to tax rules.
• Monitor and manage treasury, cash flow and asset-liability management (ALM).
• Coordinate the Budget and Forecast processes.
• Respond to the regulator, the tax authority, the external auditors, or the internal level controls in a timely manner.
• Monitor the scarce resources such as funding, RWA consumption, Large Exposure management and the Cost Income Ratio.
• Supervise and coordinate the department activities (Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Controlling & Budgeting, Treasury) to guarantee the quality of reports, the compliance with the Group and regulatory requirements.
• Play a crucial role in the management team and create a collaborative working environment, promoting open communication and teamwork across all departments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 10+ years in Finance / Controlling within leasing / banking / financial services or regulated banking environments.
• Excellent knowledge of IAS / IFRS principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Italian tax, accounting and Bank of Italy reporting regulations, including Centrale Rischi.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
• Fluent Italian and professional English is a must.

Workplace: Milan (2 days of remote working).
