Job summary

Cagayan State University is seeking a finance-oriented intern to assist the plant controlling team with expense reporting, cash position forecasting, and month-end close tasks. You will support monthly reporting, monitor KPIs, and assist in planning and forecasting processes.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, Excel-based data management, and potential exposure to Power BI or Tableau tools. Internship may renew in Summer/Fall 2027, full-time schedule Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance or Accounting or within 1 year of graduation.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Structured working approach to meet high-quality standards.
• Good attention to detail, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel for data management and reporting.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of MS Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• SAP knowledge desirable.
• Availability to work full time Monday–Friday for at least six months; internship renewal possible.

• Support monthly business reporting focusing on reporting and analysis.
• Monitor and distribute key performance data and other reports as required.
• Support the business planning and forecasting process.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Individuals actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or within one year of graduation from such a program.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• A structured working approach to meet high-quality standards.
• Good attention to detail, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data management and report writing.
• Good command of the English language.
