Hitachi Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Italy to execute service tasks across installation, maintenance and upgrades, onsite at customer sites. You will coordinate parts, prepare technical reports, and ensure safety and adherence to Hitachi Energy processes.

Travel across Italy (>80%) is required and fluency in Italian and English is expected. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, teamwork, and timely delivery of service activities in line with safety guidelines.

• Electrotechnical diploma required.

Job Description:

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer who will focus on executing Service work according to agreed work flows and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.

How you\'ll make an impact

• Perform Service tasks, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.);

• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation;

• Create and maintain a good relationship with customers and understands their needs;

• Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities;

• Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative;

• Troubleshoot equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future;

• Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities, report unsafe practices and incidents.

Your background

• Electrotechnical diploma;

• Previous working onsite experience with HV equipment;

• Good knowledge of Italian and English;

• Ability to work in team and meet deadlines

• Willingness to travel in Italy (>80%), mainly in Sicilia, Calabria, Puglia and Campania.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:

• Starting from:38000 € gross

The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
